I am excited to watch your musical abilities unfold as we explore a world of music. You are bound to find out things about yourself that you didn’t know, as well as grow to love different kinds of music that maybe you’ve never even heard.
Opening up your world to become a musician holds such a wonderful set of possibilities, whether you want to become a professional musician, a teacher, or just play for fun. You become art in motion. You get to participate, body and soul, in making music, in the expression of musical creations of others, or of your own. My job is to help you to discover your musical spirit within. It is a powerful part of you that is confident, creative, strong, and patient. It is a part of you that knows how to engage in such a way as to give your music study what it needs to flourish. It is a part of you that knows that music belongs to all of us, and that it is an important way of connecting with our own unique experience, and with that of others.
I am here to guide you along a path of discovery, as we witness your musical abilities begin to blossom. My promise to you is that I will do everything in my power to open up this world for you, to show you around little by little, and in the most efficient and effortless ways, help you to learn. The rest is up to you.
